Baiklah.. Sebagaimana yang telah saya janjikan di "My Weekly Journal #5", kali ini saya akan lebih detil membahas terkait Pie Chart.

Nah..

Saya ingin memberikan contoh soal pie chart dan sample answernya.

Writing Task 1

Online Sales for Retail Sectors in Canada

Note : 

Blue : A

Orange : B

Grey : C

Yellow : D

Q : 

The Chart inform the online shopping sales for retail sectors in Canada in 2005 and 2010.

Sample Answer:

The charts illustrate percentage for retail sectors that sold by online shopping in Canada in 2005 and 2010. Overall, A and B made up the largest proportion of the total sales in two selected years. Besides, C and D became the lowest sector of the retail sales by online.

In more details, there was one in twenty reduction for A sector in 2010 compared to 2005. The drop resulted A sector became the second biggest portion in 2010 whereas A was the major front in 2005. By contrast, B was in the third largest sales in 2005, it was 22%. Whereas, in 2010, the figure increased slightly to 32% which successfully hit the highest sales.

The second major sector in 2005 was C with one in four of overall sales. A decrease of 10% made C down the least proportion in 2010. On the other hand, even though the minimum portion of online sales was for D in 2005, which accounted for 18%. In 2010, the figure grew up to 23% in 2010 which was higher than C.

Jadi untuk pie chart, kita akan sangat akrab dengan percentage (%). Oleh karena itu, kita sebaiknya paham bagaimana cara membahasakan % selain menggunakan % itu sendiri. Berikut beberapa cara dalam membahasakan ulang bentuk % :
